Diabetes, obesity and post-bariatric care
Whether you are a child, adolescent, or adult, certain health conditions require personalized, appropriate, and evolving nutritional support. My role is to help you develop sustainable eating habits that fit your daily life, health needs, and personal goals.
I provide compassionate, judgment-free support, taking into account your personal history, lifestyle habits, and specific needs. The goal is not to follow a strict diet, but to build a balanced, realistic, and sustainable approach to eating that is adapted to your individual situation.
Together, we can work on:
- type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, or gestational diabetes (during the relevant period);
- prediabetes and preventing its progression;
- overweight and obesity in children, adolescents, and adults;
- improving blood glucose management through nutrition;
- meal planning and adapting eating habits;
- preparing for bariatric surgery;
- nutritional follow-up after bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, etc.);
- preventing nutritional deficiencies and adapting your diet after surgery;
- supporting long-term lifestyle changes that promote health and quality of life.
Each support plan is individualized and evolves according to your needs, journey, and goals. For children and adolescents, the family plays an essential role in the process, helping to encourage lasting changes in a calm and supportive environment.
When needed, I work in collaboration with the other healthcare professionals involved in your care (general practitioner, diabetologist, endocrinologist, bariatric surgeon, pediatrician, psychologist, nurse, or other specialists) to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support.
